Get some really effective natural home remedies for tanning that can make your skin lighter and can also make your face glow!
Tanning is not a problem related to the natural aging process. It is more due to ‘Photoaging’ of skin. Now what is photoaging? It can be called aging of skn due to the exposure to harmful sun rays or the ultra violet radiation. It happens over a period of years with repeated exposure to sun. It also depends upon the skin color and the duration for which one is exposed to sun’s rays. If you have fair skin and have to remain more in sun then you have more chances of developing photoaging than those who have darker skin and do not have to go out much in the sun. Repeated exposure to the UV rays leads to breaking down of collagen and also weakens the synthesis of new collagen as well as damage the skin elastin. As a result, skin becomes loose, wrinkled, and leathery. It also leads to darkening of skin or tanning at regions where we do not cover our skin.
Home Remedies for Tanning
Now when we know that premature aging due to sun rays can cause tanning, we must take precautions while going out. This means covering our exposed skin areas like hands, feet and face. We can always wear full sleeves clothes and cover our feet with socks like clothing. An umbrella or hat with wide brim can also very efficiently protect us from sunrays. A good sunscreen with high SPF (SPF 30 is good enough) can block about 94-97% of UV rays. Remember to buy broad spectrum sunscreen that offers both- UVA and UVB protection. However, if your skin or face is already tanned, you must take some measure to make skin lighter.
